About the Authors

Christopher J. Mickel is a graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C. He is a writer, actor, and lecturer, and is skilled in creative and song writing. He is also a winner of the National B.I.G. Oratorical Contest. He is the son of Shirley, the brother of Cameron, the Uncle of Kamryn, and the father of Nyla and Christopher Jr.

Dr. Elijah Mickel, CRT is the author of African Centered Reality Therapy (2005) and Two Plants One Flower (2015). He has written many article as well as a number of book chapters. He is the father of Christopher and Cameron and grandfather to Kamryn, Nyla, and Christopher Jr.
